About me...

Hi, I'm Carlo.I am an Italian painter, I was born in Genoa (1970) and I studied art at the Liceo Artistico Nicolò Barabino.I never thought I would become a painter, in fact I worked and still work as a graphic designer for the press, first for publishing and currently for papermaking.I abandoned art the way one lets things one cares about die, that is, without reason.But the artistic passion, that never left me. In fact, I resumed painting after almost thirty years, out of love.In April 2022, I decided to give my wife an oil portrait as a present and I thought, " ...if this painting comes out well and gives me satisfaction, I will start drawing and painting again, otherwise I will give up and abandon the idea forever".Returning to painting after so long was not easy.
The portrait came out discreetly, but the satisfaction of executing it was enormous.So I started displaying my paintings, first on Twitter, then on Instagram, and finally made this website.Most of my paintings often depict places I have visited that particularly moved me, in a style inspired by impressionist masters, past and contemporary.Thank you to everyone who has read this far and to those who will support my art.Carlo

Commission fee is 1000 satoshi per square cm for oil on canvas board. Minimum size is 30x30cm. Once you are added to the commission list it normally takes eight (8) weeks to complete the painting and allow it to fully dry before shipping (included in the price if domestic (Italy), foreign shipping is an additional fee).This is the price for a landscape painting from a photo that you choose. A painting that contains figures or buildings/vehicles as large parts of the composition will double the price quoted above. I do not accept requests for portraits, still life, or animals. I deliver a finished painting within the specified timeframe; I do not welcome edits or additions as it’s quite disruptive to my process.The paintings are not framed and do not have hanging apparatus on the back, nor are they varnished. I leave those decisions up to the client to apply after receiving the artwork.Payment is accepted in full through either BTC on-chain, lightning or L-BTC.
No bank transfer, no Revolut, no PayPal.
Once the process is started and materials are purchased there are no refunds or cancellations. Paintings valued at over 0.035 BTC will be insured for shipping.To be added to the commission list, please email isolabellart@proton.me.
You will need to include the size of the painting you want along with the related photo reference.If I choose to accept your request, I’ll contact you with an approximate finish date and payment instructions. You will only be added to my commission roster after your payment is received in full; I do not accept partial payment or installments.
